This medication is used to improve symptoms of mental function decline such as decreased concentration, memory impairment, and dizziness.

How to take

Adult dose

Taking ginkgo leaf dry extract, 240 mg once a day, 1 tablet. Can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medicine is made from ginkgo leaf dry extract. Do not take this medication if you are allergic to ginkgo leaf or any other components. Additionally, due to insufficient studies on safety in children and adolescents, do not use in individuals under the age of 18. Pregnant women are also advised not to take this medication. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with genetic disorders that affect lactose digestion should not take it. Be cautious of increased potency if taking anticoagulants or certain other medications that affect blood coagulation. This drug may influence enzymes that break down drugs in the liver, potentially changing the effectiveness or duration of other medications. When taken with certain drugs such as calcium channel blockers or theophylline, there is a risk of altered drug concentration, so follow your doctor's instructions. Individuals at risk of bleeding or taking medications that may cause bleeding should consult a doctor before taking this medication. Breastfeeding women should consult an expert before use as it is unknown whether this medication passes into breast milk. Patients with epilepsy should be cautious as this medication may worsen seizures. Patients scheduled for surgery should discontinue this medication at least 36 hours prior to the procedure to reduce bleeding risk. This medication should be taken continuously for at least 8 weeks, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, consult a doctor. If symptoms such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, skin rash occur, consult a professional immediately. Caution is warranted as cases of bleeding have been reported with long-term use. Side effects such as dizziness or itching have been reported, so it's advisable to report these symptoms. Severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis can rarely occur, so seek immediate treatment in case of an emergency. This medication is not a substitute for hypertension medication and should not be used as such by hypertensive patients.
