Precautions
This medication may put strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist. The acetaminophen component in this medication can rarely cause severe skin conditions, so if rashes or allergic symptoms occur, use should be discontinued immediately. Care should be taken not to exceed the daily maximum dosage of acetaminophen, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or its components, have experienced asthma, infants under three months of age, or those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not use this medication. Patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should also not take this medication. During treatment, it is safer not to take other cold medications, antipyretics, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines simultaneously. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic tendencies, or who have a history of drug allergies should consult a specialist before taking this medication. People with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid disorders, diabetes, hypertension, gastrointestinal issues, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and elderly individuals should consult a doctor before use. If symptoms such as rashes, itching, vomiting, urination issues, or dizziness occur during treatment, use should be stopped immediately, and a specialist should be consulted. Particularly, if signs of hives, difficulty breathing, severe skin reactions, or indications of liver dysfunction occur, immediate medical attention is necessary. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years old except in special cases, and careful observation by a guardian is needed when given to children. The prescribed dosage and administration should be strictly followed, and prolonged use is not recommended. Alcohol should be avoided during treatment, as drowsiness may occur, and driving or operating machinery should be refrained from. Caution should be exercised when taking with certain diuretics or medications containing licorice as they may cause muscle weakness or increased blood pressure as side effects. Concurrent use of acetaminophen with certain antibiotics can rarely cause metabolic acidosis, so if related symptoms are suspected, treatment should be stopped and medical consultation sought. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place with low humidity. To maintain quality, it is best not to transfer to other containers.
