Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm or death to the fetus and newborn, especially during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy; therefore, if pregnancy is confirmed, it must be stopped immediately. Patients with allergies to any components of this medication, pregnant women, diabetics, and those with moderate to severe kidney dysfunction should not take this medication. Patients with heart failure, kidney issues, or renal artery stenosis who rely on the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system should carefully use this medication, with close monitoring of blood pressure and kidney function. It is not recommended to use this medication in combination with other renin-angiotensin system drugs as this could increase the risk of hypotension, hyperkalemia, and renal impairment. Caution should be exercised in patients with decreased blood volume, such as those experiencing vomiting or diarrhea, or those taking high-dose diuretics as initial hypotension may occur; dosage adjustments should be made under medical supervision if necessary. Due to the risk of hyperkalemia, regularly check serum potassium levels when used with potassium-sparing diuretics, potassium supplements, or potassium-containing salt substitutes. Particular caution is needed for elderly patients or diabetics with impaired renal function. Side effects such as dizziness, headache, hypotension, nausea, and diarrhea may occur during treatment, and if these symptoms worsen, consultation with a healthcare professional is recommended. Caution is necessary when driving or operating machinery as drowsiness or dizziness may occur. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should not take this medication, and breastfeeding women should also avoid this medication. Overdosage can lead to hypotension and dizziness; if these symptoms occur, notify a healthcare professional immediately for appropriate intervention. This medication should be stored away from direct sunlight and moisture, kept in its original packaging, and kept out of reach of children.
