This medication is used for symptoms of mental function decline such as reduced concentration and memory loss, as well as symptoms related to dizziness or arteriosclerosis.

How to take

Adult dose

As Ginkgo Biloba extract, take 240 mg once daily, 1 tablet. It can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication contains Ginkgo Biloba Extract as its main ingredient, and should not be taken by individuals with hypersensitivity to certain components. Safety for children and adolescents has not been adequately established, so individuals under 18 years of age should avoid use. It is also advisable for pregnant women to refrain from using this medication. This product contains lactose; therefore, patients with genetic lactose intolerance or related disorders should avoid it. During treatment, this medication should not be used in conjunction with anticoagulants or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Additionally, this medication may affect the metabolism of other drugs in the liver, so caution is needed when used with calcium channel blockers or theophylline. Patients with bleeding disorders or those taking medications that increase bleeding risk should consult a physician. Breastfeeding women should consult a professional, as it is unclear whether this medication is transmitted through breast milk. Patients with epilepsy may have an increased risk of additional seizures, so caution is necessary. Patients scheduled for surgery should discontinue this medication at least 36 hours before to reduce bleeding risk. The duration of use should be at least 8 weeks; if symptoms do not improve after 3 months, consult a physician. If adverse reactions such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, or skin rash occur during treatment, consult a professional immediately. There have been reports of bleeding incidents with prolonged use, so caution is advised. Symptoms such as dizziness or itching may occur. Serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis have been reported rarely, so if symptoms arise, notify medical personnel immediately. This medication is not a treatment for hypertension; therefore, patients with high blood pressure should receive separate treatment. Keep out of reach of children and store medications sealed in their original containers to maintain quality.
