Precautions

This medication should not be used on wounds or mucosal areas. It is advisable to avoid use on areas with bacterial infections such as tuberculosis or syphilis, fungal infections, viral infections such as herpes zoster or herpes simplex, and animal skin infections such as scabies or lice. Individuals with infections, or who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients should also avoid using it. It is safe to avoid using this medication for patients with perforation of the eardrum, ulcers, severe burns, skin inflammation around the mouth, common acne, or rosacea. Those with a history of allergic reactions or a family history of allergies, as well as patients undergoing other treatments or those with extensive skin lesions should use it with caution. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, breastfeeding mothers, and children should also use it carefully, and caution is warranted for those allergic to propylene glycol, which is included in this medication. Symptoms of skin infections may occur, and side effects such as rash, itching, skin irritation, redness, and dryness may arise; if symptoms occur, usage should be discontinued and advice from a professional should be sought. Long-term use may lead to thinning of the skin or dilation of blood vessels, so it is advisable to reduce dosage or switch to another medication if necessary. Using this medication on a large area for a prolonged period may affect the body as a whole, so regular check-ups are essential. Avoid use around the eyes, as it may result in increased intraocular pressure or diseases such as glaucoma; if symptoms appear, immediate consultation with an eye doctor is necessary. The prescribed dosage must be adhered to, and it should be used under the supervision of a guardian for children. In cases of dermatitis accompanied by skin infections, do not use this medication alone; appropriate antibacterial or antifungal treatments should be used in conjunction. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a professional, and avoid prolonged continuous use. If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use and be cautious, as children are at higher risk for side effects due to greater absorption relative to their weight. This medication is for external use only and should not be ingested or allowed to come into contact with the eyes. When storing, keep it in an airtight container away from children in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, and do not transfer to other containers. Do not use products that are past their expiration date, and caution must be taken with psoriasis patients using this medication in large quantities over a long period as it may exacerbate skin symptoms.
