It is particularly important during these periods to prevent issues with proper bone and tooth development. Vitamin D is also effective in preventing rickets. Overdose may result in gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, heart failure, edema, and long-term use may lead to hypercalcemia or calculi. Caution is especially needed if taken with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene due to the risk of hyperkalemia. Follow the prescribed dosage carefully, and administer to children under the supervision of a guardian, and it is advisable to avoid consuming tannins contained in beverages like green tea or black tea before and after taking this medication. Store this medication out of reach of children in a tightly sealed container, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. For quality maintenance, do not transfer to another container.
