This medication is used as an alternative treatment for patients who are taking both nebivolol and rosuvastatin together. Nebivolol is primarily used to assist in the treatment of essential hypertension and mild to moderate chronic stable heart failure in elderly patients over 70 years of age. Rosuvastatin controls various types of hypercholesterolemia and is used as an adjunctive therapy when dietary changes and exercise do not achieve desired results. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and slow the progression of atherosclerosis. This drug also contributes to reducing the risk of cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction and stroke. Therefore, it is used as an alternative therapy when combining nebivolol and rosuvastatin.
