Precautions

This drug contains Rabeprazole and Sodium Bicarbonate, which suppress gastric acid secretion and aids in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. However, it should not be administered to patients who are allergic to Rabeprazole or its components, those taking certain antiviral drugs (Atazanavir, Rilpivirine), and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function, the elderly, patients with heart or lung complications, and those with electrolyte imbalances should be particularly cautious when using this medication. This drug may cause various side effects including skin rash, itching, blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, cardiovascular issues, gastrointestinal symptoms, neurological issues, respiratory problems, musculoskeletal pain, abnormalities in skin and eyes, and urinary tract issues, so any abnormal symptoms should prompt immediate consultation with medical professionals. Regular liver function and blood tests are important during long-term use, and accurate diagnosis is necessary before treatment in cases where malignant tumors such as gastric cancer are suspected. As this drug strongly suppresses gastric acid secretion, it may interact with certain medications, so patients taking other medications should inform their healthcare provider. It is advisable to avoid using this drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to uncertainty about its safety, and the elderly should be cautious due to the risk of side effects from decreased liver function. The safety of this medication has not been established for children, so it is not recommended for use in pediatrics. In cases of overdose, there is no specific antidote, so appropriate treatment should be sought based on symptoms, and tablets should be swallowed whole without chewing or crushing. Store in a sealed container, out of reach of children, and do not transfer to another container. Caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery as drowsiness may occur, and long-term use may increase the risk of fractures, hypomagnesemia, and gastrointestinal infections, necessitating regular checkups and vigilance.
