This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of colds, such as sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults (15 years and older) take 1 packet 3 times a day, 30 minutes after meals. If necessary, take it before bedtime with a dosage interval of 4 hours.

Precautions

This medication may burden the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three drinks of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before usage. The acetaminophen component included in this medication can rarely cause serious skin conditions; if there are abnormal symptoms such as rashes or itching, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Be careful not to exceed 4,000 mg of acetaminophen in a day and do not take it with other acetaminophen-containing medications. This medication contains aspartame, an artificial sweetener that is broken down into phenylalanine; therefore, patients with phenylketonuria should not take it. Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor, rash, high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mouth/eye mucosa, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, asthma attacks, respiratory distress accompanied by cough and fever, jaundice (yellowing of skin or eyes), extreme lethargy, sudden and severe headache, severe edema or urination problems accompanied by elevated blood pressure.

Mild side effects

Rash, redness, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, edema, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, metabolic acidosis with high anion gap (HAGMA), autonomic symptoms (insomnia, excessive sweating, rapid pulse, frequent urination, palpitations, generalized weakness, mental excitement), gastrointestinal symptoms (loss of appetite, gastric discomfort, nausea, vomiting, etc.), urinary symptoms (urination disorders, etc.)
