Relief of pain, itching, and swelling associated with anal fissures and hemorrhoids
This medication is used to relieve pain and itching caused by anal fissures and hemorrhoids, and temporarily reduce swelling and bleeding.
Adults over 15 years of age should apply an appropriate amount directly to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day or use it as a rectal application. For rectal application, attach the applicator to the tube and insert it rectally.
Children under 15 years of age should apply an appropriate amount directly to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.
This medication should not be used if there is pus or infection on the wound. Patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid issues, diabetes, and those with urinary difficulties due to prostate enlargement should also avoid using this medication. Additionally, breastfeeding women should avoid using this medication as it may cause increased heart rate in the baby. During treatment, do not use other ointments or suppositories containing specific ingredients, nor take blood pressure medications or antidepressants. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, and patients currently receiving medical treatment should consult a specialist before using this medication. If redness, swelling, irritation, or pus occurs while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Also, if symptoms of allergic reactions such as rash or itching occur, stop use immediately as it may lead to severe shock. If symptoms do not improve after about 7 days of use or bleeding occurs, stop use and consult a specialist. Be cautious as blurred vision may also occur. This medication must be used strictly according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and should be supervised by a guardian if used by children. This medication should only be used on the anal area and must not be applied to the eyes. Due to the corticosteroid component, vision problems may arise, so if blurred vision or other visual abnormalities occur, seek medical attention from an ophthalmologist. Store out of reach of children, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, to maintain the quality of the medication, do not transfer it to another container.
Anaphylactic shock (severe allergic reaction) occurring with unknown frequency
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should not be used with dl-Methyl ephedrine hydrochloride, Scopolamine extracts, or suppositories or ointments containing glycyrrhizic acid, creams. Avoid concomitant use with antihypertensives and antidepressants.
This medication may be sensitive to air and moisture; therefore, it should be stored in a sealed container. It is important to maintain storage temperatures between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius to preserve the efficacy and safety of the medication.
This medication is a white to pale yellow ointment.
