This medication is used for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia. It supplements iron to assist in the production of red blood cells in the blood, thereby improving anemia symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Children over 8 years and adults: One tablet once a day.

Precautions

Since this medication contains iron, accidental overdose in children under 6 years old can result in severe poisoning and death, so it must be kept out of reach of children in a safe place. People with an allergic reaction to any component of this medication, infants under 12 months, or those with certain iron metabolism disorders should not take this drug. Additionally, it is advisable not to take this medication simultaneously with certain drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, some antibiotics, and antacids, as interactions may occur. It is advisable to avoid drinking teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. Lastly, this medication should be stored in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, and should not be transferred to other containers to maintain quality.
