This medication is used to improve cognitive decline, including symptoms related to atherosclerosis such as reduced concentration, memory loss, and dizziness.

How to take

Adult dose

As Ginkgo Biloba Dry Extract, take 240 mg once daily (1 tablet). It can be taken regardless of meals.

Precautions

This medication is made from an extract of ginkgo leaves, and certain individuals should not take it. Individuals allergic to ginkgo leaves or any other ingredients of this medication should not use it. Due to insufficient safety studies in children and adolescents, this product should not be taken by children or adolescents under the age of 18. Pregnant women should avoid taking this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic issues that prevent lactose digestion should not take it. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that thin the blood. Additionally, this medication may affect the metabolism of other drugs in the liver, so caution is needed when used with medications such as calcium channel blockers or theophylline. Individuals taking medications that increase the risk of bleeding should consult a doctor or pharmacist. Women who are breastfeeding should consult a healthcare professional, as it is not known whether this medication is passed into breast milk. Patients with epilepsy should take caution, as this medication may increase the frequency of seizures. If surgery is planned, discontinuation of this medication at least 36 hours before the procedure is advised to reduce the risk of bleeding. This medication should be taken for a minimum of 8 weeks based on symptoms, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, consult a doctor.
