Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this medication or any of its ingredients. Infants under 12 months of age or patients with severe renal impairment, and those who are allergic to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should also avoid this medication. It is important to avoid concurrent use with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, and medications such as levodopa while taking this medication. Women who are currently receiving treatment, are pregnant or may become pregnant, breastfeeding individuals, premature infants, and children, as well as patients with peptic ulcers, chronic gastrointestinal diseases, heart and circulatory system diseases, renal disorders, and hypoproteinemia must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If any symptoms such as upper abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, constipation, rash, skin redness, abnormal heartbeats, or central nervous system symptoms occur while taking this medication, you should immediately stop taking it and consult a specialist. Also, caution is needed for women with menstrual changes or prolonged bleeding, women taking oral estrogen contraceptives, or individuals at risk for thromboembolic disease. Long-term high-dose use of pyridoxine may lead to neurological symptoms, while high doses of vitamin B12 may result in hematological abnormalities. In case of overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema may appear, so care should be taken. Particularly when taken with medications such as aldosterone antagonists or triamterene, there is a risk of hyperkalemia, so caution is necessary, and if symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than one month, consult a specialist. Patients at risk for lipid overload should regularly monitor their blood lipid levels to adjust the dosage of this medication. When receiving other injectable lipid medications, the lipid amount in this medication should be considered to adjust the dosage. It is crucial to strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, as this medication can discolor urine yellow and affect clinical test results. It is advisable to avoid tannin-containing beverages such as green tea or black tea before and after taking this medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place in a tightly closed container to prevent misuse and maintain drug quality.
