Precautions

Patients who regularly consume alcohol exceeding a certain amount each day must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Those who frequently drink alcohol may be at risk of gastrointestinal bleeding while taking this medication. This medication may increase the risk of developing cardiovascular issues, such as myocardial infarction or stroke, necessitating use at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Additionally, even if there is no history of cardiovascular disease, careful observation of any heart-related symptoms is necessary. Due to the risk of gastrointestinal perforation, ulcers, and bleeding, individuals with a history of gastrointestinal disorders and the elderly should be particularly cautious. If symptoms such as epigastric pain, indigestion, black stools, or hematemesis occur during treatment, seek medical attention immediately. This medicine should not be administered to individuals with specific allergies or hypersensitivity, those with severe heart, liver, or kidney diseases, individuals with active peptic ulcers or inflammatory bowel diseases, or women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Those with impaired liver or kidney function, asthma, hypertension, heart failure, fluid retention, or elderly patients should use this medication with increased caution, as symptoms of these conditions may worsen during treatment, requiring regular status checks. Various adverse reactions have been reported with this medication, with the most common symptoms including indigestion, abdominal pain, headache, and skin itching. Serious skin reactions or liver and kidney dysfunction may rarely occur, thus if any unusual symptoms arise, stop taking the medication and consult a professional. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should avoid taking this medication as it may lead to uterine contractions or premature labor; breastfeeding women are also advised to refrain from using this medication. This medication may interact with other drugs, especially those metabolized by the liver, antihypertensive agents, anticoagulants, and diuretics, therefore it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist if taking these medications. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur while taking this medication, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. Long-term use of this medication requires regular blood tests and checks for liver and kidney function, with discontinuation upon any abnormal findings. In cases of overdose, symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, and gastrointestinal bleeding, requiring immediate medical attention. Keep this medication out of the reach of children and do not transfer it to other containers.
