Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet twice daily. This medicine may be taken with or without food. Take this medicine whole; do not crush or split it. ○ Patients with hepatic impairment This medicine is not recommended for initial treatment in patients with hepatic impairment who require a dose reduction (see Precautions for Use, 5. Precautions

This medication may pose a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily, and consultation with a physician or pharmacist is essential. It can affect the cardiovascular system and may increase the risk of serious thrombotic events such as myocardial infarction or stroke. Therefore, it should be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration, with careful monitoring for cardiovascular symptoms. There is a risk of gastrointestinal issues such as ulcers, bleeding, and perforation, especially in elderly patients and those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. Symptoms such as epigastric pain, dyspepsia, hematemesis, and melena warrant immediate medical attention. This drug is contraindicated for patients with specific allergic reactions, severe heart, liver or kidney diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases, pregnant or nursing women, and those with certain genetic lactose intolerance. Patients with impaired kidney or liver functions, as well as those with asthma, hypertension, or heart failure, require careful monitoring during use. Adverse reactions may occur during use, such as headache, dyspepsia, swelling, skin rashes, and dizziness. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consultation with a physician is advised. As this drug is metabolized in the liver, dose adjustment may be necessary for individuals with compromised liver function or those taking specific medications concurrently. Women who are pregnant or could become pregnant should not take this medication, and if pregnancy occurs during treatment, it should be discontinued immediately. Elderly patients may be at a greater risk for impaired kidney, liver, or heart function and should use this medication with extra caution, with regular testing recommended. Dizziness and drowsiness may occur, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided. Long-term use of this medication requires regular blood tests and monitoring of liver and kidney functions, with cessation required if abnormal findings occur. Overdosage may result in symptoms such as vomiting, lethargy, drowsiness, and gastrointestinal bleeding, necessitating immediate medical attention for appropriate care. Keep this medication out of the reach of children and avoid transferring it to other containers.
