Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist prior to use for individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day, as taking it with alcohol may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular thrombotic events, myocardial infarction, and stroke, so individuals with a history of cardiovascular disease or risk factors should take special care. It is safest to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Serious issues such as gastrointestinal perforation, ulcers, and bleeding may occur in the gastrointestinal tract, so patients with a history of gastric ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding should exercise caution when taking this medication. Elderly patients are also at higher risk for gastrointestinal adverse reactions. This medication should not be administered to patients with specific allergic reactions, severe cardiovascular, liver, or kidney diseases, active peptic ulcer disease, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function, asthma, hypertension, or heart failure should exercise caution when taking this medication, and regular monitoring as directed by a physician is necessary. While taking this medication, adverse reactions such as headache, dyspepsia, edema, skin rash, abnormal liver function, and elevated blood pressure may occur, so if any adverse symptoms present, consult with a professional immediately. This medication may interact with other drugs, so if currently taking any other medications, it is crucial to inform a physician or pharmacist, particularly when used with antihypertensives, anticoagulants, diuretics, or antidepressants. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication, and should consult before use if planning a pregnancy. Elderly patients are at higher risk for decreased kidney, liver, and heart function, and will require careful monitoring and potentially dose adjustments. It is important to regularly conduct blood tests, liver function tests, and kidney function tests during the treatment to check for abnormalities. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, and gastrointestinal bleeding may occur, and immediate medical attention is required. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to another container.
