Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who regularly consume more than 3 alcoholic drinks per day without consulting a doctor or pharmacist. If frequently consumed with alcohol, there is a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, which may result in serious cardiovascular issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke. These risks may increase with longer dosages and duration, so it is crucial to use the minimum effective dose and duration. Even if there is no history of cardiovascular disease, if symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, or speech difficulties occur while taking this medication, immediate medical attention should be sought. This medication can cause serious adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal perforation, ulcers, and bleeding, especially in the elderly or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. Those with gastrointestinal histories or the elderly should be carefully monitored for symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding such as epigastric pain, indigestion, black stools, or hematemesis when using this medication. This medication should not be administered to individuals with allergic reactions or hypersensitivity, severe heart, liver, or kidney disease, active peptic ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding, or inflammatory bowel disease. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding mothers, should not use this medication. This medication should be used cautiously in patients with weakened liver or kidney function, asthma, heart failure, hypertension, or edema, or those taking diuretics or ACE inhibitors. It may cause adverse effects such as headache, indigestion, nausea, diarrhea, skin rash, swelling, and dizziness during use; if symptoms are severe, consultation with a physician is advised. This medication may interact with other drugs, so it is essential to inform a doctor about taking blood pressure medications, anticoagulants, antidepressants, diuretics, lithium, or methotrexate. During pregnancy, it may be harmful to the fetus, so once pregnancy is confirmed, the medication should be stopped immediately and a doctor should be consulted. This medication may also be excreted in breast milk, so if breastfeeding, usage should be avoided or discussed with a healthcare professional. The elderly may have reduced kidney, liver, and heart function, necessitating extra caution and possible dosage adjustments. For long-term users, regular blood tests and checks of liver and kidney function should be conducted to detect any abnormalities. In case of overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, or gastrointestinal bleeding may occur, and immediate medical attention is required. Keep this medication out of reach of children and do not transfer it to other containers.
