Particular caution is needed as it may cause corneal damage if it comes into contact with the eyes, and if it does get into the eyes, it should be rinsed immediately with clean water. This medication contains propylene glycol, and caution is also necessary for those allergic to this ingredient. If symptoms such as nausea, discomfort, cold sweat, dizziness, shortness of breath, or redness occur during use, usage should be immediately stopped and medical advice sought. Rarely, shock reactions may occur, so sufficient monitoring of these symptoms is necessary. When used over a long duration or on large areas, care should be taken to avoid inhaling vapors. When disinfecting medical instruments that have been contaminated with organic materials such as blood or pus, they must be thoroughly rinsed with this medication to maintain sterilization efficacy. Using with soap may reduce the sterilizing effect, so it is necessary to wash off soap completely before use.
