Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Take 100mg of bromelain, twice a day. Take it with water 30 minutes before meals.

Children's dosage

For children over 12 years old, take 100mg of bromelain, twice a day, the same as adults. Take it with water 30 minutes before meals.

Precautions

This drug should not be used in patients with severe coagulation disorders where blood does not coagulate normally, such as patients with hemophilia. Additionally, patients suffering from severe liver or kidney disease, especially those undergoing dialysis, should not take this medication. Patients taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors should be cautious as the risk of bleeding may increase when taking this medication. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid taking this medication as its safety has not been sufficiently established. Children under 12 years old should not take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so patients with genetically determined galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid taking it. Patients on antibiotics, particularly tetracycline antibiotics, should consult with a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication, as it may enhance the effects of the antibiotic. This medication contains dye Yellow No. 5, so patients who are hypersensitive or have a history of allergies to it should take caution when using this medication. If any hypersensitive reactions such as skin rash, itching, or difficulty breathing occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Rarely, gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain or diarrhea may occur, so if these symptoms arise, discontinue use and consult an expert. This medication should be stored in a place out of reach of children, and when taken out of the original container and stored in another container, the quality of the medication may deteriorate and pose a risk of misuse, so it must be sealed back in the original container.
