Relief of swelling (inflammation, trauma)
This medication helps relieve inflammation symptoms associated with swelling. It particularly reduces swelling that occurs after trauma or surgery, promoting recovery. It effectively alleviates swelling and inflammation, reducing discomfort for patients. Through these effects, it supports the wound healing process and helps facilitate a quick return to daily activities. Therefore, it is used for the relief of swelling and inflammation.
As bromelain, take 45–90 mg once, 3 times a day. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.
For children over 12 years: As bromelain, take 45–90 mg once, 3 times a day. Take with water 30 minutes before meals.
This medication should not be used in patients with severe blood coagulation disorders, such as hemophilia. Additionally, patients with severe liver or kidney diseases, especially those undergoing dialysis, should avoid taking this medication. Patients taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors should be cautious, as the risk of bleeding may increase when taking this medication together. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid taking this medication as its safety has not been fully established. It is also advisable for children under 12 years old to refrain from using this medication. Since this drug contains lactose, patients with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. Before taking this medication, if you are currently taking antibiotics, particularly tetracycline antibiotics, you must consult your doctor or pharmacist. This medicine contains the dye Yellow No. 5, so patients with a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to this component should use it with caution. If you experience allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, or difficulty breathing while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult with your doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain or diarrhea may occur, albeit rarely; if these symptoms appear, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and it should be stored in its original packaging to prevent misuse or degradation.
