This medication is used only for patients who must take both Amlodipine and Ezetimibe/Atorvastatin combination drugs. Amlodipine is used to treat hypertension and angina, particularly myocardial ischemia caused by stable and variant angina. It also helps reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients with coronary artery disease and related risks of vascular procedures. The Ezetimibe/Atorvastatin combination drug is primarily used to improve cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, and can also be used as an adjunct or alternative treatment for homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. This combination reduces total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides while increasing HDL cholesterol, thereby positively impacting cardiovascular health. Therefore, this medication is used to improve symptoms in patients with hypertension, angina, and hyperlipidemia, and to reduce cardiovascular risk.
