This drug is used to improve cholesterol and triglyceride levels in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. It specifically helps lower total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, Apo B protein, triglycerides, and non-HDL-cholesterol levels while increasing HDL-cholesterol levels known as good cholesterol, thereby aiding in the balance of blood lipids. This medication is effective for improving blood lipids when used along with dietary therapy. Consequently, it contributes to reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases and maintaining health. Therefore, this drug is useful for the treatment of dyslipidemia.
