Precautions

This drug may lower left ventricular ejection fraction, increasing the risk of heart failure. Therefore, regular cardiac function assessments should be performed before starting this medication, and initiation should not occur if the left ventricular ejection fraction is below 55%. Additionally, if signs of heart failure occur or cardiac function worsens, the medication should be discontinued. This medicine should not be used in combination with other drugs that inhibit or induce certain liver enzymes, as this may increase the risk of heart failure. It should not be administered to pregnant women as it could harm the fetus, and women of childbearing potential should verify pregnancy status before use and employ effective contraception during treatment and for at least 4 months after discontinuation. Do not use this medication if hypersensitivity exists or if taking potent drugs that inhibit or induce certain enzymes, or if pregnant. Caution is needed for patients with severely reduced renal or liver function, and it is particularly not recommended for patients with severe liver dysfunction. This drug may further decrease cardiac contractility when used with beta-blockers or certain calcium channel blockers, so use with caution. Symptoms such as dizziness or headaches may occur during treatment, requiring caution when driving or operating machinery.
