This medication is used to treat constipation. It also helps relieve symptoms that may occur due to constipation, such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, intestinal fermentation abnormalities, and hemorrhoids. Therefore, it is effective in improving constipation and various uncomfortable symptoms associated with it.
How to take
Adult dose
For individuals aged 15 and over and adults, take 1 to 2 tablets, twice a day in the morning and evening on an empty stomach (before meals or between meals). However, for the first dose, take the minimum amount and gradually increase or decrease based on the shape and condition of the stool.
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by individuals with serious gastrointestinal diseases such as acute abdominal disease or bowel obstruction. Additionally, children under the age of 7 should not use this medication. This medicine contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or hereditary lactase deficiency should not take it. While taking this medication, avoid taking antacids or milk together, with a minimum interval of 1 hour. Individuals with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women or those who might become pregnant, and those taking other medications should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Additionally, individuals with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel failure also need to consult prior to use. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, or if constipation does not improve after taking for more than 1 week, stop taking it and seek medical advice. The tablets should be swallowed whole without chewing, and long-term use may lead to drug tolerance and aggravated constipation, so continuous use for more than 1 week is not recommended. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Moreover, do not transfer to another container for quality maintenance.
