Prevention of bone growth issues and rickets, relief of pain such as neuralgia and myalgia
This medication is used to supplement vitamins D, B1, B2, B6, and zinc, which are commonly deficient during various periods such as physical fatigue, pregnancy, lactation, after illness, during growth phases, and old age. Vitamin D helps in the healthy development of bones and teeth and has a preventive effect against rickets. The B vitamins assist in preventing beriberi and relieving eye fatigue. It is also effective for alleviating pain such as neuralgia, myalgia, and arthralgia, as well as improving inflammation around the mouth (angular cheilitis, cheilitis, stomatitis, glossitis) and skin conditions like dermatitis and eczema. This medication helps improve overall physical strength and alleviate various symptoms, thereby enhancing health.
For individuals aged 12 and older: 1 tablet once daily after meals.
This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), or those with kidney disorders. Additionally, individuals allergic to this medication or its components, infants under 12 months, those with kidney stones, severe renal failure, allergies to soybean oil, or hypersensitivity to legumes or peanuts should avoid it. During treatment, this medication should not be taken with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, or medications like levodopa. Women who are pregnant, potentially pregnant, nursing, or those with a history of peptic ulcers, chronic colitis, heart or circulatory problems, kidney disorders, hypoproteinemia, or a history of kidney stones should consult their physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Caution is also required for individuals with metabolic disorders such as hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis; infants under one year old; and children exposed to sunlight with normal dietary habits. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, cardiac arrhythmias, central nervous system depression, dermatitis, foul odor from sweat or breath, hair loss, gastrointestinal disturbances, hypotension, or pulmonary edema occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Long-term high-dose pyridoxine use can lead to neurological disorders, and high doses of vitamin B12 can result in hematological adverse reactions in patients with folic acid deficiency. High doses can exacerbate peptic ulcers, cause impaired glucose tolerance, hyperuricemia, and liver damage, so caution is advised. Overdose may precipitate symptoms like nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema; concurrent use with certain diuretics poses a risk of hyperkalemia. It is important to adhere to the prescribed dosage and to avoid drinks containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after administration. Pediatric dosing should be supervised by a caregiver. Patients at risk of lipid overload should monitor plasma lipid levels and adjust dosages as necessary, considering total lipid amounts when using other lipid-injectable preparations. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and should not be transferred to other containers.
Cardiac arrest, pulmonary edema, sensory neuropathy or neurological symptoms, hematological adverse reactions, liver damage, severe edema
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
Do not take with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, antacids, or levodopa. If taking estrogen-containing oral contraceptives, consult a physician or pharmacist. Exercise caution when used with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene, as it may cause hyperkalemia.
Avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, during or before and after use.
This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture, ideally at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C. This will help maintain the medication's efficacy and safety.
