Precautions
This medication should be used with caution in women within the first 3 months of pregnancy or in women of childbearing age if taking more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily, as this may pose a risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. Children, especially those under 6 years old, require careful storage away from their reach if they accidentally take an overdose, as serious toxicity symptoms may occur. Patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, kidney disease, or allergies to any ingredients in this medication should not take it. Infants under 12 months old, patients with hyperkalemia, hemochromatosis, kidney stones, or severe renal failure should also refrain from taking this medication. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take phosphate salts, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, or levodopa. Infants under 1 year, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients with certain gastrointestinal diseases or heart/kidney diseases, hypoalbuminemia, liver diseases, etc., should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. If any abnormal symptoms such as itching, rash, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or difficulty breathing occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Long-term high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and caution is needed as taking it with certain vitamins may cause neurological disturbances or blood abnormalities. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration; when administering to children, supervision by guardians is necessary. Since the vitamin A contained in this medication can be sufficiently obtained through a normal diet, care should be taken not to exceed 5,000 IU per day when used as an adjunct therapy. It is recommended to avoid beverages containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, while taking this medication, as they may affect test results. Store this medication out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place in a sealed container; do not transfer to other containers to maintain quality.
