Vitamin D is essential during pregnancy, lactation, childhood growth phases, and in the elderly, as deficiency is common. This vitamin plays a crucial role in ensuring normal development of bones and teeth, and in preventing the bone disease known as rickets. Selenium is also an essential mineral for our body, helping to maintain health through its antioxidant properties. Therefore, these nutrients are used particularly to improve health during the growth phase and elderly period.

Infants under 1 year old, patients receiving medical treatment, children who are regularly exposed to sunlight, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, premature infants, and toddlers should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Particularly, caution is needed as vitamin D can be transmitted to infants through breast milk, potentially causing hypercalcemia. Patients with gastrointestinal diseases such as peptic ulcers, chronic ulcerative colitis, localized colitis, those with heart or circulatory system problems, kidney impairment, or a history of kidney stones should also consult a specialist before use. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dermatitis, foul-smelling sweat or breath, hair loss, agitation, gastrointestinal disturbances, upper abdominal pain, hypotension, or pulmonary edema occur while taking this medication, it should be stopped immediately, and a physician or pharmacist should be consulted. Moreover, excessive dosage can lead to gastrointestinal symptoms, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema; therefore, caution is required. In cases of accidental overdose, consult a specialist immediately. If symptoms do not improve after consistent use for about a month, discontinue use and consult medical personnel. Adhere strictly to the prescribed usage and dosage, and supervision by a guardian is necessary when administering to children. Avoid tea containing tannins, such as green tea and black tea, before and after taking this medication.
