Those with allergies to this medicine or its components should also avoid it. Infants under 3 months old and patients with kidney stones should not take this medicine. Since this medicine contains lactose, individuals with a genetic problem digesting lactose should not take it. While taking this medicine, it should not be used in conjunction with another medicine called levodopa. Infants under 1 year old, individuals currently receiving treatment from a physician, children exposed to sunlight and having a normal diet, women who are pregnant or potentially pregnant, women who are breastfeeding, as well as premature and infant patients should consult a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medicine. This is because vitamin D can be transmitted to newborns through breast milk, possibly causing hypercalcemia. Individuals with a history of kidney stones should also consult a specialist before use. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, oral inflammation, constipation, loss of appetite, skin rash or itching, and swelling occur while taking this medicine, it should be stopped immediately, and a specialist should be consulted. Caution is needed for long-term use of high doses of pyridoxine, as neurotoxic effects may occur. High doses of vitamin B12 may lead to blood abnormalities, so care is required. High doses can exacerbate peptic ulcers, cause issues with blood sugar control, increase uric acid levels, and lead to liver damage. If overdosed or if symptoms do not improve after a month of use, immediate consultation with a specialist is advised. This medicine must be taken according to the specified dosage and usage guidelines, and when administered to children, parental supervision is needed. The urine may turn yellow, which can influence clinical test results. During storage, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry, airtight place. It should not be transferred to another container to prevent misuse and to maintain the quality of the medicine.
