Adult dose

This medication must be used in conjunction with an appropriate lipid-lowering diet before administration and should continue throughout the treatment period. To avoid gastrointestinal disturbances, take with meals. The initial dose is 2 g (4 capsules) per day, and it may be increased to 4 g per day if necessary. It can be taken once or twice a day.

This medication should not be used in individuals with an allergic reaction to its ingredients or in children under 18 years of age. Patients at high risk of bleeding due to severe trauma or surgery, those with poor liver function, and patients with fish allergies should use this medication with caution. Various side effects such as low back pain, cold symptoms, dyspepsia, rash, and taste disorders may occur during treatment, and if any concerning symptoms appear, consult a physician immediately. Blood tests must be conducted before and during treatment to regularly check triglyceride levels, and maintaining an appropriate diet and exercise is crucial. This medication may elevate liver enzyme levels or increase low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in some patients; therefore, periodic testing is necessary. Because this medication can affect blood coagulation, care should be taken when taking anticoagulants or acetylsalicylic acid concurrently to monitor for bleeding risk. During pregnancy, the potential effects on the fetus are unclear, so it should be used only when absolutely necessary. Nursing mothers should also take caution when using this medication. Safety and efficacy in children have not been established, therefore it is not recommended. It can be used in elderly patients without special dosage adjustment but caution is advised. In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment should be received, and general supportive care may be necessary. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container should be avoided to maintain quality and safety.

Hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, paleness, severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/ocular mucosa, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory abnormalities with cough and fever, jaundice (yellowing of skin or eyes), extreme drowsiness, sudden and very severe headaches, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion of consciousness, visual disturbances, paralysis, changes in urination amount,
