This medication is used for patients who require concurrent use of two drugs, pimasartan and atorvastatin. First, pimasartan helps control blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. Atorvastatin is effective in reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases, particularly important for patients at high risk of myocardial infarction or stroke. Additionally, it contributes to reducing the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with type 2 diabetes and pre-existing heart disease. This drug helps to improve cholesterol and lipid levels in patients with hyperlipidemia, aiding in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Thus, this medication is used to improve both hypertension and the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
