How to take

Adult dose

For adults and children over 8 years: Take 1 capsule once a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (excess calcium in the blood), sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), or those with kidney disease. Additionally, those who are allergic to this medication or its components, infants under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, individuals with severe renal failure, and those with hypersensitivity to soybean oil, soybeans, or peanuts should also avoid this medication. It is important not to take this medication with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, or antacids. Children under 1 year of age, individuals receiving medical treatment, children exposed to significant sunlight while maintaining a normal diet, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, breastfeeding mothers, premature infants, and infants should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Patients with heart or circulatory issues, those with kidney disorders or hypoalbuminemia, individuals currently taking cardiac glycosides, and those with a history of kidney stones should take precautions. Additionally, this medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5; those allergic to this ingredient should take caution. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, low blood pressure, flushing, irregular heartbeat, skin rash occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. If an overdose occurs or if symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for more than a month, seek professional advice promptly. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, and adult supervision is required when administering to children. It is best to avoid tea containing tannins, such as green or black tea, before and after taking this medication. Patients with impaired lipid metabolism should monitor their blood lipid levels and adjust the dosage as necessary, especially when taking other lipid-lowering medications, considering their lipid intake.
