Precautions

This medication may cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Additionally, it should not be used in patients with allergies to its components or specific health conditions, such as those with kidney dialysis, severe liver impairment, or biliary obstruction. Careful monitoring is necessary when administering this drug to patients with depleted blood volume or sodium, impaired renal function, certain heart diseases, and the elderly. If side effects such as dizziness, headache, swelling, urinary disorders, insomnia, or flushing occur while taking this medication, medical consultation should be sought. Blood pressure may drop too low, so immediate treatment is required if symptoms of hypotension appear, and regular tests are needed due to the risk of increased potassium levels in the blood. This medication can interact with other antihypertensive agents or specific drugs, so patients must inform their healthcare provider if they are taking other medications. It is recommended that pregnant or breastfeeding women do not take this medication, particularly during pregnancy due to risks to the fetus. Safety and efficacy in children and adolescents under 18 years of age have not been established, so it is best not to use it. In case of overdose, symptoms such as blood pressure drop or heart-related issues may arise, requiring immediate hospital treatment. Keep this medication out of the reach of children and do not transfer it to another container to ensure safety.
