Adult dosage

For patients receiving sitagliptin 100 mg and dapagliflozin 10 mg, administer 1 tablet once daily regardless of meals. The tablet should be swallowed whole.

Precautions

This medication may cause allergic reactions; if symptoms of hypersensitivity such as skin rash, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face or neck appear after administration, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication can cause serious inflammation of the pancreas known as pancreatitis; if symptoms like abdominal pain, vomiting, or nausea occur, inform a doctor immediately. This medication should not be used in patients with allergies to certain components or in those with type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis, or undergoing dialysis. Patients with impaired kidney function, those with fluid depletion, elderly patients, and those taking diuretics should use this medication with caution, and renal function, blood pressure, and fluid status should be carefully checked before and after administration. This medication may increase the risk of genital and urinary tract infections; appropriate treatment should be sought if symptoms of infection (pain, itching, discharge, etc.) occur. There is a risk of hypoglycemia; especially when taken with other antidiabetic medications such as insulin or sulfonylureas, blood sugar changes should be closely monitored, and medication dosage adjusted if necessary. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use this medication, and if pregnancy is confirmed, administration should be discontinued immediately. Hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, sweating, pallor, anaphylaxis, angioedema, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, exfoliative dermatitis, severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/eye mucosa, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthmatic attacks, cough with fever and respiratory abnormalities, skin or eyes turning yellow (jaundice), extreme lethargy, sudden and severe headache.
