Relief of pain and inflammation associated with colds and arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis)
This medication is effective for fever and pain due to colds, lower back pain, menstrual pain, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and postoperative pain. It is also used for various pain management including headaches, migraines, toothaches, muscle pain, and neuralgia. It may help with ankylosing spondylitis, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis, and soft tissue injuries. It is indicated for the treatment of non-articular rheumatic diseases such as tendinitis, tenosynovitis, and bursitis. This broad usage improves pain and inflammation across various conditions.
Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injuries, non-articular rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: 200-600 mg orally once, 3-4 times daily. Maximum dose of 3200 mg per day. Mild to moderate pain, colds: 200-400 mg once orally, 3-4 times a day. Migraine: 200-400 mg taken orally, not exceeding 2 capsules within 24 hours.
Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis: Administer 30-40 mg per kg of body weight orally, divided into 3-4 doses daily. Adolescents aged 12 and older: 200-400 mg once orally, 3-4 times a day. Weight 30
This medication may pose a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding for individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day; consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. It can affect the cardiovascular system and increase the risk of serious thrombotic events such as myocardial infarction or stroke. Caution is required for individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors, and high doses should be avoided. It may cause severe gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, so elderly patients or those on long-term treatment should exercise additional caution. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, severe blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, or heart failure should not take this medication. Those allergic to any component of this medication or with a history of bronchial asthma, or hypersensitivity to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid taking it. This medication should not be used during late pregnancy due to the risk of ductus arteriosus closure in the fetus, and caution is needed when used in combination with anticancer drugs. Exceeding the recommended dosage is not permitted, and it is advisable not to take it with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. During breastfeeding, this medication can transfer into breast milk and cause adverse reactions in infants, so breastfeeding should be stopped or the medication should be discontinued. Individuals with blood abnormalities, bleeding tendencies, liver or kidney disease, heart disease, hypertension, or a history of hypersensitivity should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking. Those taking low-dose aspirin should be cautious as this medication may reduce the effectiveness of aspirin and increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may interact with various drugs; therefore, consult healthcare providers if taking ACE inhibitors, lithium, diuretics, methotrexate, anticoagulants, or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. If you experience serious adverse symptoms such as allergic reactions, respiratory distress, skin rash, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver dysfunction, or kidney function decline during treatment, immediately discontinue use and consult healthcare providers. It should be used at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible, and regular check-ups are needed for long-term use. After 20 weeks of pregnancy, the administration period and dosage should be carefully adjusted as it may affect fetal kidney function, and amniotic fluid status should be monitored by ultrasound if necessary. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, stored in its original container, and should not be transferred to other containers as this may pose a risk of misuse or deterioration.
