Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients who have allergies to this medication's active ingredients or similar substances, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, patients undergoing kidney dialysis, patients with severe liver function impairment, patients with biliary obstruction, certain diabetic patients, specific renal impairment patients, genetically lactose intolerant patients, patients with severe aortic stenosis, and those in shock should not take this medication. Patients with decreased blood volume or sodium, impaired kidney function, renovascular hypertension, aortic and mitral stenosis, primary aldosteronism, severe hypotension, the elderly, and patients with hypersensitivity to certain pigments should take this medication with caution. While taking this medication, side effects such as dizziness, headache, facial or limb edema, urination disorders, insomnia, flushing, etc., may occur, and if any abnormal symptoms arise, consultation with a physician is necessary. Hypotension symptoms may arise during treatment, so especially at the beginning of treatment or when increasing the dosage, the patient's condition should be closely monitored, and if symptoms become severe, they should lie down or receive fluid treatment if necessary. This medication may elevate potassium levels in the blood, so patients with heart failure or impaired kidney function should regularly monitor their blood potassium levels. This medication may interact with other blood pressure medications, diuretics, potassium supplements, certain antibiotics, and anti-inflammatories, so if you are taking other medications, be sure to inform your doctor or pharmacist. This medication may cause drowsiness or dizziness during driving or machine operation, so caution is advised. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid taking this medication or consult with their doctor, and safety for children and adolescents under 18 years of age has not been established. In case of overdose, severe hypotension or cardiac arrhythmias may occur, so immediate medical attention is required.
