Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm or death to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second or third trimester of pregnancy; therefore, it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients who have allergies to this medication's active ingredients or similar compounds, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, patients undergoing renal dialysis, patients with moderate to severe liver impairment, patients with bile duct obstruction, certain kidney disease patients, patients with lactose intolerance, patients with severe aortic stenosis, patients in shock, etc., should not take this medication. Patients with reduced blood volume or reduced renal function, patients with renal artery hypertension, patients with aortic and mitral valve stenosis, patients with severe hypotension, elderly patients, and those with allergies to certain pigments should take this medication with caution, ensuring close monitoring of their condition. This medication can cause a variety of side effects, including headache, dizziness, facial swelling, urination disturbances, insomnia, and flushing; if these symptoms persist or worsen, consultation with healthcare professionals is advised. During the initial intake or when increasing the dosage, blood pressure may drop too low, so attention should be paid to symptoms of hypotension, and if blood pressure becomes too low, the patient should be laid down and, if necessary, receive fluid therapy. Especially in patients with heart failure or weakened kidney function, there is a risk of elevated potassium levels in the blood, necessitating regular blood tests. This medication can interact with other antihypertensives, diuretics, potassium supplements, certain antibiotics, and analgesics; therefore, patients should inform healthcare professionals of any concurrent medications. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are advised against taking this medication, and if necessary, should consult their physician to use safe alternative medications. Children under 18 years of age should not use this medication, as its safety and efficacy in this population have not been established. In cases of overdose, severe hypotension, cardiac arrhythmias, shock, etc., may occur, so immediate emergency treatment is required; caution should also be exercised as blood pressure may recover slowly after discontinuation. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in its original packaging to maintain its quality.
