Efficacy & effects

Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Pimasartan potassium is used to lower blood pressure, but additional treatment may be needed for patients with essential hypertension who do not achieve sufficient blood pressure control on monotherapy. In such cases, blood pressure can be managed more effectively by combining it with other medications. Therefore, Pimasartan potassium is used to improve blood pressure control in essential hypertension.
