Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this drug or any of its ingredients. Additionally, infants under 3 months should not take this medication. Since this medication contains lactose, individuals with genetic disorders that prevent lactose digestion should avoid taking it. It is advisable not to take this medication concurrently with a drug called levodopa. Women who are currently undergoing medical treatment, are pregnant or may become pregnant, or are breastfeeding, should consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, oral inflammation, loss of appetite, or abdominal bloating occur while taking this medication, it should be immediately discontinued and a professional should be consulted. Caution is required, as long-term high-dose administration of pyridoxine included in this medication can lead to symptoms of nerve damage. When taking high doses of vitamin B12, hematological adverse reactions may occur, so caution is needed. High-dose administration can worsen peptic ulcers, cause problems with blood sugar control, increase blood uric acid levels, and result in liver damage. If there is an overdose or if symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than a month, consult a professional immediately. Always adhere to the prescribed method and dosage for taking this medication, as it may change the color of urine to yellow and affect some test results. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and tightly sealed. Also, transferring the medication to another container may pose a risk of misuse and diminish its quality, so it must be stored in the original container.
