Adult dose

The recommended dose for adults is 1 tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). If blood pressure remains uncontrolled, transitioning to this medication after monotherapy with pimasartan should be considered. This medication can cause serious harm or death to the fetus and newborn if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters; discontinue immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Patients with allergies to the ingredients in this medication, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, patients undergoing renal dialysis, patients with moderate to severe liver dysfunction, patients with bile duct obstruction, and those with certain kidney dysfunctions or diabetic nephropathy should not take this medication. Patients with reduced blood volume or low sodium, patients with impaired kidney function, renal artery hypertension, aortic stenosis, severe hypotension, and elderly patients should use this medication with caution. While taking this medication, side effects such as dizziness, headache, facial or peripheral edema, urinary disorders, insomnia, and flushing may occur, and one should consult a doctor if symptoms are severe. Symptoms of hypotension or electrolyte imbalance, especially hyperkalemia, may occur, so regular blood tests are important. Drowsiness or dizziness may occur while taking this medication, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating dangerous machinery. Interactions may occur if taken with other antihypertensives or diuretics, potassium-sparing diuretics, lithium, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, so it is essential to consult with a doctor or pharmacist.
