Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborns if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be stopped immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. It should not be used in patients with allergies to the active ingredients or similar substances, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, patients on dialysis, those with moderate to severe liver impairment, patients with biliary obstruction, certain kidney disease patients, patients with genetic lactose intolerance, patients with severe aortic stenosis, and patients in shock. Caution is advised for patients with low blood volume or salt, patients with impaired renal function, patients with renal artery hypertension, patients with aortic and mitral stenosis, patients with primary hyperaldosteronism, patients with severe hypotension, elderly patients, and those with hypersensitivity to certain pigments. While taking this medication, side effects such as dizziness, headache, facial swelling, urinary disorders, insomnia, and flushing may occur, and there is a rare risk of serious kidney issues or blood pressure drop. Patients with hypotension or electrolyte imbalance should be particularly cautious when starting or increasing the dosage; if blood pressure drops too low, they should be laid down and given fluid treatment if necessary. This medication can increase the risk of hyperkalemia, so patients with heart failure or impaired kidney function should have their serum potassium levels checked regularly. If combined with other antihypertensives, there is a risk of excessive blood pressure reduction, so caution is needed, and if the antihypertensive effect is severe, consult a doctor immediately. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur when driving or operating machinery, so patients should be careful. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are advised to avoid taking this medication, and if necessary, should consult with a doctor to take appropriate measures. Safety and efficacy have not been established in children and adolescents under 18 years old, so it is preferable not to use this medication. In case of overdose, severe hypotension, heart problems, etc., medical attention should be sought immediately. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers.
