View approved original text

Pimasartan potassium is a medication primarily used when blood pressure is insufficiently controlled in patients with essential hypertension as monotherapy. This medication effectively lowers blood pressure, helping to prevent complications due to hypertension. It works by relaxing blood vessels, improving blood circulation, and reducing the load on the heart. Therefore, it plays an important role in hypertension management and enhances the overall cardiovascular health of patients. For these reasons, pimasartan potassium is actively used in hypertension treatment.
