How to take

Adult dose

Ages 12 and older: take 2 tablets twice a day Dissolve in the mouth or chew after meals.

Precautions

This medicine should be used with caution in women within the first 3 months of pregnancy or in those who might become pregnant due to the risk of fetal congenital defects from excessive vitamin A intake. Individuals with certain conditions such as hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, kidney disease, kidney stones, or severe kidney failure should not take this medicine. This medicine should not be taken by individuals who have allergic reactions to any of its components or infants under 12 months old. Patients with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance or galactose intolerance should also avoid taking this medicine. While taking this medicine, do not take phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, antacids, or levodopa together. Infants under 1 year, patients undergoing medical treatment, children exposed to a lot of sunlight, patients with hyperoxaluria, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a specialist before taking this medicine. If any unusual symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rash, abnormal heartbeat, or gastrointestinal discomfort occur during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a specialist. Caution is advised when taking vitamin E while using oral contraceptives that contain estrogen, as it may increase the risk of thrombosis. Long-term high-dose use may result in tolerance or neurological symptoms, so the prescribed directions and dosages should be strictly followed. When administering this medicine to children, parental supervision is necessary, and the vitamin A intake should not exceed 5,000 IU per day. It is advisable to avoid tannin-containing beverages such as green tea or black tea during administration, and to note that this medicine may affect blood glucose testing or urinalysis results.
