It is also effective in relieving dry eyes and improving night blindness, as well as preventing poor bone and dental development and rickets. Therefore, this medicine helps improve overall vitamin deficiencies and enhance health across various age groups and health conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

12 years and older: 2 tablets twice a day. Take after meals by dissolving or chewing in the mouth.

Child dose

Children aged 36 months or older to under 12 years: 1 tablet twice a day. Take after meals by dissolving or chewing in the mouth.

Precautions

Caution is required as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily to women within the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant poses a risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. Individuals with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, renal diseases, kidney stones, or severe renal failure or those allergic to any component included in this medicine should not take it. Infants under 12 months or patients with genetic issues such as lactose intolerance should also not take this medicine. During the course of taking this medicine, it is necessary to avoid concomitant use with medications like phosphates, calcium salts, tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, and levodopa. Patients under 1 year of age, those receiving treatment from a doctor, children receiving a lot of sunlight, individuals with hyperoxaluria, pregnant or nursing women, patients with heart or cardiovascular diseases, renal impairments, hypoalbuminemia, those on cardiac glycosides, and individuals with a history of gout or kidney stones should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medicine. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rash, irregular heartbeats, central nervous system changes, or gastrointestinal disturbances occur while taking this medicine, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Furthermore, side effects such as changes in menstruation, increased risk of thrombosis, development of tolerance, neuropathy, hematological abnormalities, exacerbation of peptic ulcers, liver damage, edema, hypercalcemia, and increased risk of osteoporosis can occur, so caution is necessary. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, and parental supervision is required when administering to children. It may affect blood glucose test results and may cause urine to turn yellow, which should be noted during tests. It is recommended to avoid tannin-containing beverages such as green tea or black tea before and after taking this medicine.
