Precautions

This medication can cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. The acetaminophen in this medication can, on rare occasions, cause serious skin reactions, so it must be discontinued immediately if a rash or hypersensitivity occurs. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000 mg, and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. The pseudoephedrine in this medication can rarely cause severe skin reactions, so if symptoms such as fever, rash, or small blisters occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to this medication or its components, who have a history of asthma, infants under three months old, those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics, or those with severe hypertension or renal disease should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines while using this medication. Children infected with chickenpox or influenza, those with specific allergic constitutions, chronic conditions like liver, kidney, or heart diseases, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, vomiting, dizziness, shortness of breath, high fever, or severe skin reactions occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult with healthcare staff. It is generally recommended not to administer this medication to children under two years old; if necessary, it should only be after a physician's assessment. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol consumption. Furthermore, caution is necessary as the metabolism of acetaminophen may be slowed when taken with certain medications. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, kept in a cool, dry, and sealed container away from direct sunlight. Lastly, this medication should not be transferred to another container, and it is advisable to keep it in its original packaging to prevent misuse.
