Vitamin D is important to supplement as it is often deficient during pregnancy, lactation, and in growth and elderly years. The Vitamin D contained in this medication helps maintain healthy development of bones and teeth, as well as preventing rickets. Selenium is also a necessary nutrient for the body, which, when properly supplemented, can support immune function and assist in antioxidant activity. Therefore, both Vitamin D and selenium are utilized to maintain health and prevent diseases according to the relevant age and condition.

Precautions
This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in the blood), sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown origin), or those with kidney disease. Furthermore, individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients should avoid taking it. Infants under 12 months and patients with kidney stones should also refrain from using this medication. This medication contains lactose, so those with a genetic issue that prevents lactose breakdown should not take it. During the use of this medication, drugs such as phosphate, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, and antacids should not be taken simultaneously. Patients receiving treatment, pregnant women or those who might become pregnant, nursing mothers, preterm infants, and toddlers should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Special care is necessary as the Vitamin D component can be transmitted to newborns through breast milk, potentially causing hypercalcemia. Individuals with gastrointestinal diseases such as peptic ulcers or chronic ulcerative colitis, cardiovascular issues, kidney impairment, hypoproteinemia, or a history of kidney stones should also seek advice before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dermatitis, odor during sweating or breathing, hair loss, anxiety, gastrointestinal disturbances, upper abdominal pain, hypotension, or pulmonary edema occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Overdosing can lead to gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema; therefore, caution is advised. Additionally, taking this medication with certain diuretics may cause hyperkalemia, so care is needed. For any overdose, consult medical personnel immediately, and if symptoms do not improve after one month of use, seek professional advice. This medication must be taken strictly according to the prescribed method and dosage, and avoiding tea containing tannins such as green tea or black tea before and after taking is recommended.
