This medication is used in situations where it is difficult to fall asleep due to severe pain caused by acute nighttime pain. It alleviates pain to help the patient sleep comfortably. It is primarily effective in improving temporary insomnia symptoms caused by pain.

How to take

Adult dose

In cases where it is difficult to sleep due to pain, take 1-2 capsules once daily before sleep. Do not exceed 1,200mg of ibuprofen and 75mg of diphenhydramine within 24 hours. The interval between doses should be at least 4 hours after taking the components. Do not continuously take for more than 5 days if the cause of symptoms is not identified.

Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist before use for those who regularly consume more than three drinks per day. There is a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taken by individuals who consume excessive alcohol. This medication may affect the cardiovascular system, and those with heart disease or risk factors, or those taking it for a long term, have a higher likelihood of serious issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke. Additionally, this medication can cause serious problems such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, especially for the elderly or those taking it for a long time. Do not take this medication if allergic to its components, or have a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, asthma or pulmonary disease, severe liver, kidney, or heart dysfunction, are under 15 years of age, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep away from specific medications such as blood pressure medications, lithium, diuretics, chemotherapy agents, anticoagulants, antidepressants while taking this medication, and be cautious with other pain relievers or sleep aids. It is important not to exceed the recommended dosage and not to take it concurrently with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications. This medication can be transmitted through breast milk, so it should be avoided during breastfeeding, and caution is needed when driving or operating machinery due to possible drowsiness or dizziness. If symptoms such as chest tightness, shortness of breath, severe skin rashes, bleeding, severe abdominal pain, visual disturbances, severe headaches, or changes in consciousness occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication must be used according to the prescribed method and dosage and should not be taken continuously for a long time. When taken by children, supervision by a guardian is necessary, and alcohol should be avoided. ACE inhibitors, lithium, furosemide and thiazide diuretics, methotrexate, coumarin anticoagulants, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, other sleep-inducing agents, hypnotics, MAO inhibitors, cold medications, antipyretic analgesics (aspirin, acetaminophen, naproxen), cough expectorants, oral medications containing antihistamines, other medications containing ibuprofen or diphenhydramine, and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
