This medication is used to relieve constipation as well as symptoms caused by constipation, including loss of appetite, abdominal distension, intestinal fermentation, and hemorrhoids.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and older: 2 tablets at a time Take once daily at bedtime on an empty stomach. For the first dose, take the minimum amount and adjust based on the stool shape and condition.

Child dose

Aged 11 to under 15 years: 1-2 tablets at a time Aged 7 to under 11 years: 1 tablet at a time Take once daily at bedtime on an empty stomach. For the first dose, take the minimum amount and monitor the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal conditions or intestinal obstruction, and children under 7 years of age. Additionally, since it contains lactose, individuals with genetic conditions like galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk. Individuals experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, individuals taking other medications, those on a sodium-restricted diet, and those with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel insufficiency should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication contains Yellow No. 4, so individuals with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should be cautious. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. If abdominal discomfort or cramping occurs or if constipation does not improve after one week of use, discontinue and consult a professional. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and children must be supervised by an adult while taking it. Especially, children under 10 years of age should avoid taking it unless necessary. Swallow the tablets whole without chewing, and avoid prolonged use as it may lead to drug tolerance and worsening constipation, hence it is advisable not to use it for more than a week. Additionally, if constipation persists requiring daily medication, it is important to investigate the cause of the constipation. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place, tightly sealed. Lastly, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
