Adult dose

For oral administration. Use in adult men The recommended dose of this medicine is 10mg, taken with or without food before anticipated sexual activity. For patients in whom tadalafil 10mg does not provide a sufficient effect, 20 mg may be tried. This medicine may be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once daily. Continuous daily administration of this medicine is strongly discouraged because long-term safety after prolonged daily dosing has not been established and its effects usually last for more than one day. [See section 1. Warnings and section 11.1) Pharmacodynamic properties] Use in elderly men No dosage adjustment is required in elderly patients. Use in men with renal impairment No dosage adjustment is required in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. The maximum recommended dose in patients with severe renal impairment is 10mg. [See section 11.2) Pharmacokinetic properties]. Use in men with hepatic impairment The recommended dose of this product is 10mg, taken with or without food before anticipated sexual activity. Since clinical data on the safety of this product in patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C) are limited, if it is prescribed, the physician should carefully assess the individual benefit/risk. There are no data on administration of doses higher than 10mg to patients with hepatic impairment. [See section 3. Patients requiring careful administration and section 11.2) Pharmacokinetic properties]. Use in men with diabetes No dosage adjustment is required in patients with diabetes.

Child dose

Should not be used in persons under 18 years of age.

This medication is used to treat erectile dysfunction, and prior consultation with a doctor is essential to accurately diagnose the cause of erectile dysfunction. Sexual activity can put a strain on the heart; therefore, patients with cardiovascular disease must verify their heart condition before taking this medication. If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours after taking the medication, immediate medical attention should be sought, as neglecting this may result in penile tissue damage or permanent loss of erectile function. This medication should not be taken with nitrate preparations due to the risk of a sudden drop in blood pressure, thus patients on nitrate preparations should not use this medication. Patients who have had recent cardiovascular conditions like myocardial infarction, angina, or stroke, or those with uncontrolled hypertension or hypotension may be at risk when taking this medication. This medication may cause side effects like headache, dyspepsia, back pain, muscle pain, flushing, and others in certain patients, and if symptoms are severe or persistent, consultation with a doctor is advisable. When taken with alcohol, there is an increased risk of blood pressure lowering and dizziness, so excessive drinking should be avoided. This medication cannot be used by women, children, or infants, and its safety during pregnancy has not been established. It does not significantly affect driving or machinery operation, but there may be dizziness in some individuals, so caution is advised. In case of overdose, immediate contact with medical personnel for appropriate treatment is necessary, and this medication is difficult to remove by hemodialysis. This medication must be kept out of reach of children, and it's safest to store it in its original packaging condition.

This medication should be kept in a tightly closed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture. It is advisable to maintain a storage temperature between 1 and 30 degrees.
