Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop, once daily.

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the components. When using this medication, blurred vision or dry eyes and discomfort may occur, and rarely taste alterations may be experienced. Contact lenses should not be worn when eyes are red, and as the preservatives in this medication may remain on soft contact lenses, lenses should be inserted at least 5 minutes after instillation. This is a non-sedating antihistamine, but it may cause temporary blurred vision after use. Wait until vision returns to normal before driving or operating machinery. Patients undergoing long-term steroid treatment should reduce their steroid dosage slowly under medical supervision when using this drug. Patients with seasonal allergies are advised to begin using this medication before symptoms worsen and to continue using it until symptoms resolve. If no effect is observed, it is safer not to use it for an extended period. This medication is for ocular use only and should not be administered by injection or orally. During pregnancy, the risks and benefits to the fetus should be carefully considered, and it should be used under medical advice. Nursing mothers should also consider the potential effects on the infant. Safety and efficacy in children under 2 years of age have not been established, so use should be avoided. Elderly patients can also use it without special precautions. When using, be careful not to let the tip of the container touch the eye to prevent contamination, and single-use products should be used immediately after opening, discarding any remaining solution. Keep this medication out of reach of children, and store it in a cool place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, do not transfer to another container. Animal studies show no evidence of carcinogenicity or mutagenicity, but high doses may affect reproductive function, so recommended dosages should be followed.
