Precautions

This medication should not be used by children or women. In particular, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid contact with this medication or the scalp and skin where the medication has been applied, as it can be absorbed through the skin and pose a potential risk to a male fetus. This medication contains ethanol in each spray, which can cause a burning sensation if it comes into contact with damaged skin. It can also be hazardous if used near an open flame, so caution is advised. If this medication inadvertently comes into contact with other body areas, it is important to wash that area thoroughly immediately. During use, mental changes such as depression, mood changes, and in severe cases, suicidal thoughts may occur, so if these symptoms are present, immediate discontinuation of the medication and consultation with a professional are necessary. Women, pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, individuals allergic to this medication or its components, or anyone using other topical medications on the same area or taking oral finasteride should not use this medication. Patients with an allergy to propylene glycol or liver function abnormalities should use this medication cautiously. Various side effects such as infections, neurological abnormalities, skin irritation, and gastrointestinal disorders have been reported, and some patients may experience sexual dysfunctions like decreased libido or erectile dysfunction. Skin reactions such as itching or erythema may occur on the scalp. If lumps, pain, or discharge appear in the breast during use, notify a doctor immediately, and although this medication may reduce ejaculate volume, it may not be the same as general sexual dysfunction. The interactions of this medication with other drugs are not well-known, and it is not recommended to use it in conjunction with other topical products. It should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women, and safety and efficacy for children or elderly patients over 65 have not been adequately confirmed. There is no specific treatment for overdose, but serious effects are rare as systemic absorption is very low. It is administered in spray form, requiring assembly before use, and should be applied only to the scalp, avoiding contact with other areas such as the face. After use, do not wear a helmet or hat for at least 6 hours, and avoid contact with pillows.
